Yes. Simply submit a completed "Open A Store" form to begin building your new online business. Within a short period of time your store will be posted within the shopping category you specify, and you may begin inventorying and designing your store immediately using your chosen username and password. Simply go to "Store Owners" to sign in  and use the admin section to add inventory, prices, special tags and images.

What is the 'rent' fee?

If you decide to become a Shop 1 merchant, you will be invoiced via the mail $25 per month for rent. That's it. No long term commitments to be made or contracts to be signed.

Is the Shop 1 Net secure, are its stores , and does it have a privacy policy?

The Shop 1 Net is secured through certification by , an internationally known securer of online financial transactions with thousands of clients. Shop 1 Net merchant stores are automatically secured, as are all e-commerce transactions. Shop One complies fully with a comprehensive privacy policy closely protects any confidential information it may receive in act of a financial transaction. 

How will shoppers find my store?

Upon joining the Shop 1 Net merchant community, your business will be listed within the site by its name, within product categories as well as by key word through the internal search .The basic Net Merchant package includes creation of one banner that will be entered into the prominent rotation on top of the Welcome page. It is important to realize that opening a store hosted within the Shop 1 Net does not include registering a domain name. There is no need with your new store. Shop One will provide reliable hosting and state-of-the-art business services for those that want a unique and innovative Internet presence.

How do I begin to take credit card transactions or checks?

Through an exclusive e-commerce agreement, the Shop 1 Net features the merchant services of Authorize Net, a premier business-to-business transaction manager that is affordable and reliable. Upon officially opening your new store, merchants will be automatically referred to an Authorize Net representative and usually fully activated within 48 hours.

How do I get photos or images into my store?

To add photos or images to a store, scan or copy them into your computer hard drive under a specific name. Within the admin section is an "Upload File" feature, that allows the user to search for the photo or image saved in hard drive files, and then through command "lift" it to the site for placement with a product display. 

How often can store designs be changed?

Part of the uniqueness of the Shop 1 Net is the ability of merchants to be able to change the look of stores virtually on a daily basis. Store designs can be interchanged as often as you like, simply and creatively. Future store designs will be arriving on a steady basis, adding even more depth and visually diversity to the Shop 1 Net.
